For several years, John served as the claims manager for an aviation general managing agent on behalf of Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s on a treaty and facultative basis.
John is a certified mediator and has served as a judge pro tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court pilot mandatory settlement conference program that he co-originated. He received advanced mediation skills training at Harvard Law School, Pepperdine University Law School Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution and International Commercial Negotiations at the University of Exeter (U.K.).
John has argued in the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California District Court of Appeal (published opinions).
